Dr. Forhad Shahed completed his MBBS from Chattogram Medical College. He joined Govt service in 2001. Dr. Shahed was awarded with Monbusho Scholarships in 1998 and completed his PhD in Neurosurgery from Hirosaki University, Japan in 2004. He got ample opportunity to study extensively vascular diseases of brain and stroke (Microvascular and Endovascular).

After returning to Bangladesh he enrolled into MS Neurosurgery. On completion of MS degree, he again did his fellowship on Endovascular and Microvascular Neurosurgery and Stroke in India and Germany.
He is working as an Associate Professor, Neurosurgery in Dhaka Medical College since 2013. He has special fascination to Vascular Diseases of Brain and Stroke.
He is doing AVM surgery and Aneurysm Clipping regularly along with Brain and Spine Surgeries. He has attended more than 40 national and international Conferences. He has vast experience in Bain Vascular Diseases and Stroke.
Dr. Shafique is performing Aneurysm Coiling, Brain AVM, Spinal vascular Malformation Embolization; Stenting of Vaso-occlusive Diseases of Brain and Neck Vessels regularly. He performed more than 3000 Diagnostic Cerebral Angiography.
